Auto electrical parts, vehicle lighting & accessories – an Irish business based in Moate, Co. Westmeath

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed on autoelectro.ie. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About us

This website is operated by Kacper Figiel, trading as Autoelectro, 3 Clibborne Way, Moate, Co. Westmeath, N37 VY01, Ireland (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us by email at office@autoelectro.ie.

2. Definitions

A consumer is an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A business customer is anyone buying in the course of a business. Some sections of these terms apply only to consumers or only to business customers, as stated.

3. Products

We make every effort to describe and show our products accurately. Product images may be illustrations and the actual product may differ slightly in appearance, for example in colour or packaging, without affecting its function or specification. Technical data such as voltage, protection rating and dimensions are given on each product page. It is your responsibility to check that a product is suitable for your vehicle or application; if in doubt, please contact us before ordering.

4. Prices

All prices are shown in euro (€) and are the total price for the goods. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you place your order. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we will contact you and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.

5. Ordering and contract

When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. This acknowledgement does not mean your order has been accepted. A contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or there is an error in the price or description; in that case any payment taken will be refunded in full.

6. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout using one of the payment methods shown. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.

7. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the Republic of Ireland. Delivery options, costs and estimated times are shown at checkout and on our Delivery Information page. Unless agreed otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of the contract. Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or a person you nominate, take physical possession of them. Ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.

8. Right to cancel (consumers)

Consumers have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Exceptions apply, for example to goods made or cut to your specification. Full details, including how to cancel and how refunds are made, are set out on our Returns & Refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

9. Faulty goods and your statutory rights

Goods sold to consumers must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, including the right to reject goods and receive a refund within 30 days of delivery, and to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund afterwards. Please see our Returns & Refunds page for how to report a fault.

10. Installation and use

Many of our products are electrical components intended for vehicles and machinery. They should be installed by a competent person in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the vehicle maker’s recommendations. Some products – such as warning beacons, blue lights or high-power auxiliary lamps – may only be used on public roads in certain circumstances. It is the user’s responsibility to comply with the Road Traffic Acts and related regulations. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or use contrary to the law, except where such liability cannot be excluded.

11. Our liability

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer. For business customers, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for that order, and we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business or indirect or consequential loss.

12. Business customers

Sections 8 and 9 (as they refer to consumer rights) do not apply to business customers. Returns from business customers are accepted only by prior agreement. Products supplied to business customers are covered by the statutory implied terms that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Personal data

We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please email office@autoelectro.ie and we will do our best to resolve it promptly. Consumers can also find information about their rights from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) at ccpc.ie.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on the website when you place your order applies to that order.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
